Captain George Karagiannis has been the owner and captain of the BARBARA since the early 1990s, continuing a family tradition passed down by his parents . Captain George brings decades of experience at sea and he is known for his knowledge of local coastal routes, open seas and expert seamanship. As Captain of the Barbara, his experience reflects both tradition and a deep personal connection to the waters he know so well.
